same problem here, i'm thinking Opera is doing this on purpose to tell us it's time to switch to a new computer or upgrade our computer's OS if we still have Vista and XP.

i think what might be best is we buy new computers, but some of us can't afford to upgrade computers, let alone Windows versions right now

yeah, Opera's servers got hacked today.

ok, update, i found how to fix this problem

go to the address/search bar on top, type opera://flags

then type smooth scrolling on the search bar in the flags page which is called Experiments.

then click disable

then restart Opera and boom, scrolling's back to normal now.

i fixed my scrolling issue. hope this helps everyone else with this same issue.

i noticed today that my Opera browser is not scrolling right, Opera 35 worked normal with the scrolling and i believe my computer upgraded itself today to Opera 36 and i already hate the scrolling on it. it's not working right. the scrolling feels doesn't feel smooth at all, slowish and like Internet Explorer. and i know it's not my computer cause the scrolling on other programs on here feel normal, how do i fix this.

do i need to roll back to Opera 35 or find a setting to fix on Opera.

bumping this threat to mention the feature that went missing, the open image in new tab option for broken images is back after being MIA for a while, i don't know what version of Opera brought it back, but i assumed it came back with Opera 33, 34 or 35. thank god it's back. let's keep it working.

today i have been dealing with a new issue with Opera and that is it hangs on some tabs i have open up on Opera on my computer.

and when the tab hangs, it don't freeze the entire browser as in crashes it, it just hangs on the separate process the tab is using.

what's worse it, it seems to do this on sites like twitter or sites with tweets from twitter embedded.

it didn't start doing this until today, as in today was when the newest version of opera was installed, anyone else having this issue.

i noticed a while back a feature of Opera in the right click options is missing when it comes to broken images (images that never loaded).

used to, you could open it in a new tab when it fails to load and when you open said broken image, it actually loads (unless it 503'ed/404'ed aka broken for good).

but now, when a image is broken, you don't get an option to open in new tab. instead you have to go into "inspect element" on the right click options to open the "Developer Tools" to find the link of the broken image in question and open the link via right click and open in new tab.

i know the latest version of Chrome, which is like Opera running on the Chromium browser engine, still has this feature.

i want to know why is the open image in new tab feature missing from the right click on image options menu for broken images.

it's been like that for a while, i'm not sure which version of Opera it disappeared from, i'm sure it happen in between 22.0 to 31.0

anyone know how to fix this issue like a extension or am i stuck with opening said image in "Developer Tools" .

same here, i guess the Flash player got disabled by Opera itself as part of the effort to end flash and force HTML5 on all of us.
