I am in agreement with Nana1nana1, the tabs have become comically bright and cartoonish. I have my system set to dark which is almost useless with as much light as my tabs are throwing. Please put the opera interface back to how it was. Or at least give the users choice in preference for gui appearance.

RE: General Opera One Appearance Feedback TopicAppearance
It's possible I am an outlier here with as many tabs as I normally have open but the new tab bar is a bloody mess to sort through. I cannot select a tab if its playing video or music, other than to mute it not go back to it without having to search it, and the tabs are so bright it makes having night mode on useless. I hope that Opera One will allow users to have more control over the gui appearance and set up. As right now its a bloody mess.!!

RE: General Opera One Appearance Feedback TopicAppearance
I could be mistaken, but this topic is about appearance feedback concerning Opera One ? So why is Himmelsheriff attacking forums members, by calling them strange ,who are leaving feedback, insinuating that they are "false users" or that their criticism lacks any value ? It seems counter productive for the moderators to allow such a toxic environment to continue to build just to have one voice that is both supporting the new appearance, while also trying to push users out of the Opera community towards Vivaldi because they do not meet his purity test requirements. As someone who has been a fan of Opera since around 2003, I hope Opera and their forum moderators will hear the suggestions and criticism to improve Opera One to what would make their base happy while allowing the potential for testing and growth of new features for those who would be inclined to use them.
PS. Himmelsheriff, deleting your reply is an interesting way to send me a message though it lacks a certain something. None the less you said no one has given you a convincing reason for the "new" forum users. So I have to ask you, what makes your approval give validity to their criticism, or perceptions ? As well why do you think anyone should be inclined to spend the time to convince you.? Convincing you might have value if you are the lead developer, CEO, President, or what have you, Baring you being a member of the development team, part of the corporate structure, or a monied backer your approval, or disapproval lacks any merit to the discussion at hand, Equal to that however what have you done to convince the new members or the old ones that you are arguing in good faith ?

RE: DeviantArt and the CrashOpera for Windows
@ceedee Well I suppose then the question would be how many were on your watchlist as in how much was it loading ? My current level of stacks in the watch list is 770 stacks. On the plus side however Version 76.0.4017.154 has seemingly relegated the crashes down to only the tab. However it can crash the tab when its not the active tab, just moving the mouse over the tab seems to crash it randomly as well.

DeviantArt and the CrashOpera for Windows
Windows 10 Pro 20H2 Build 19042.985
Opera Version:76.0.4017.123
https://www.deviantart.comThe problem arose shortly after I updated to version 76. I had far far more tabs open than would be wise on any browser aside from Opera. At least 134 tabs if not more. It had been stable and able to manage although after updating to version 76 there were occasional freezes when attempting to upload pictures or files to emails or facebook. Then I started looking through my Deviantart watch list. That completely crashed opera and deleted all open tabs. I had assumed wrongly that perhaps Opera had finally met its upper limit of open tabs, and accepted my fate. The next time I had DeviantArt up and was going through my watchlist, it did it again, this time with 4 tabs open. I attempted to follow the instructions for a clean re-install. I loaded up one tab with youtube playing music, and another tab of deviantart and it did it again. After that I reinstalled my profile folders and such, which failed to transfer extensions or even bookmarks. I have attempted Deviantart with my files returned and the problem remains, however on Vivaldi Deviantart seems to work flawlessly.
As for steps to attempt to reproduce the issue for someone else they would need a watchlist on deviant art and then attempt to scroll through it. That should work to reproduce it.
The expected behavior would be that the browser would remain up, and the site would be usable, or if the site has some glitch in its coding that its tripping up Opera that it would simply kill the single tab not the whole browser. The actual behavior is that browsing deviantart with Opera is a game of musical chairs, the music doesn't always stop immediately but normally within 5 to 10 minutes the music stops and Opera vaporizes the chair.

RE: Google Search Constantly Page CrashingOpera for Windows
I use quite a few actually, but I had disabled them all during testing to see if it was being caused by any of them. However assuming they remained problematic while disabled here is the list of the active extensions.

Google Search Constantly Page CrashingOpera for Windows
Version:28.0.1750.48 - Opera is up to date Update stream: Stable System:Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64).
Over the last three weeks, When I search for something through the speed dial window or just visit google itself the page holds for about five seconds and then crashes. I have disabled extensions testing to find out if it was an extension yet it appears to not be. I have cleared my cache which seems to stop the problem for a little while, at the shortest 5 minutes at the longest a day. So is anyone else experiencing this, and if so have you found a workaround? -
RE: Let's stop this warOpera for Windows
LOL... Let's see - according to the dictionary rabble means a: mob, crowd, throng, gang, swarm, horde, pack, mass and generally angry can be added as an appropriate adjective. Yes, indeed... we have among us a rabble who refuse to listen and simply whine on and on as though their whining will produce positive results. It won't. The so-called War is non-existent. Well, it exists insofar as there is disagreement between two groups but that is hardly a war. However, since the disagreement does exist (and in some cases it's downright nasty from the whining group), then here's a news flash for that gang. The War, as it were, is over. You've lost. Presto will not continue to be developed. Can you grasp that fact? Evidently while you enjoy likening yourselves to a power group of users, those who continue to complain and whine the loudest have difficulty grasping simple facts. So allow me to offer some constructive advice:
Continue to use whatever version of Opera Presto you currently use and be content
Install Opera 20+ alongside your current browser and watch its development with an OPEN MIND
Find an alternate browser and be content
Stop your whining, backbiting, blaming, prognosticating and just generally being tiresome trollsThere you go. And I won't even charge you for this advice. BTW... Opera 20 is awesome.
@Leushino, Actually that would be a thesaurus your quoting. The Dictionary would state the definition of Rabble like this "rabble noun
1.disorderly crowd; mob.
2.the rabble, the lower classes; the common people"
Which to call anyone who holds a differing opinion as a lower class is insulting. As for a mob it has a similarly less glorified definitions that are often the main interpretation to native speakers of the language. As for the term war, I will give you that this is not a war by common definition so much as a disagreement that leads to the concept of a flame-war upon the forums. Again however you are adding to the problem yet again by blaming the Prestovists, and then also calling them trolls. Although your first, and second pieces of advice are good, the third is a good portion of the aim of posts where the flame-wars have erupted. The Forth however isn't terribly helpful. Oh well..
Anyhow I'll take a Guinness, my old Amiga 1200..Hooray for Bards Tales.
