I agree - it's tacky and unnecessary! Please remove it.

How to disable "snapshot" when selecting text?Opera for Windows
Hi. When I select one or two words, the pop up is "Search | Copy". When I select three or more words the pop up becomes "Search | Copy | Snapshot". Is there a way to disable Snapshot, or to make it appear when I select one or two words? I've hunted through Settings but I can't find it. When I'm trying to work quickly it's annoying that the pop up changes Thanks.

@burnout426 Thanks.
It annoys me so much I've logged it as BS-72677!

Hide the Tab Menu?Opera for Windows
Hi, if I press Ctrl-Tab and my mouse happens to be over the Tab Menu dropdown Opera moves to whichever tab the mouse happens to be pointing to rather than move to the next tab which is what I'm expecting Ctrl-Tab to do. Is there a way to disable this behaviour / hide the Tab Menu? Thanks

Ctrl-W no longer closes the window!Opera for computers
Ctrl-W used to close the Opera window once it was down to one tab. Now it closes the last tab then opens a blank Speed Dial tab in that window. I don't think I changed any settings and I can't find a setting to revert to the previous behaviour. Any ideas how to make it work like it used to? Thanks.

RE: Background tabs/windows getting into foregroundOpera for Windows
Happy to say the latest release has fixed this issue!
The very tacky animated "O" is still there on startup, but this one's fixed...

RE: How to disable "snapshot" when selecting text?Opera for Windows
@theshinyscouter Thanks for the info - that option disables the popup completely. Since I posted the question Opera has changed the pop up so it's always "Search | Copy | Snapshot" no matter how many words, so the "Copy" appears in the same place again every time. Thanks anyway!

@burnout426 Thanks for the reply. Do I need to report it somewhere or is it planned to be corrected?

RE: Background tabs/windows getting into foregroundOpera for Windows
@vegelund Yup, "cancel culture" at its best! Maybe once Brave has a problem they'll work their way around all the other browsers until they all have problems and eventually come back to Opera!

RE: Background tabs/windows getting into foregroundOpera for Windows
I agree this is a complete pain in the @$%!
CPU utilisation also seems to run high if I've got windows open with meta refresh tags. I can make CPU go back down if I close / hold "ESC" on the auto refreshing tabs to stop their refresh cycle.

[Duplicated]Meta refresh windows bring themselves to the foregroundOpera for Windows
Hi, in the latest version windows with meta refresh bring themselves into the foreground when they refresh. The CPU usage also gets up to 20-30 percent if there are windows with meta refresh active...
