@alomas wow that's a lot, I usually have about 20 open. How big is your speed dial page?

I usually have 100 or more open tabs, and finding one amongst them all would be much easier if the thumbnails were numbered so I could commit a number to memory, to aid finding it again.

Found another occurrence of this problem, elsewhere on this forum and was instructed to download Opera beta, and try it.
Found it allowed me to sign in to google.
As all my stuff was on opera mobile it wasn't ideal.
Got email warning from opera saying new sign in from another part of the country (an error) when I signed in from Opera beta.
So signed into my opera account profile, from Opera mobile to check.
Saw that I could LINK my opera account to my google account.
And hey presto I can now finally use my google finance account whilst in Opera.... signed in to google. :-))

I've recently upgraded from a Samsung note4 to a note9 and cannot now sign in to my Google account for the same reason.
I get the browser is insecure message. Is there anyway to check if javascript has been inadvertently disabled.
I'm using version 60.3.3

I love using Opera, but I am becoming increasingly annoyed that Google won't allow me to sign in to my Google account when using Opera, as it is " an insecure browser " even though it is on their approved list.
