Every time I open Opera (v. 63) a desktop shortcut appears. I do not need a shortcut, so I delete it each time. Then it reappears the next time I open the browser. If I do not delete, a second shortcut will sometimes appear, but not always. What can I do to prevent this happening? It started after a recent update. Using Windows 10 Home.

Unwanted desktop shortcutOpera for Windows
I posted this message (below) several days ago and got no help. I have tried every suggested solution in this forum and nothing has worked. The problem is annoying and so is the lack of help. I'm going back to Firefox.
