With only 7 tabs open, Opera went memory crazy after latest windows update (just an ordinary update that required a restart, not OS upgrade). This has huge effect on my computer. videos are choppy and slow, every task takes huge amount of time...
In comparison, I opened Edge holding 9 tabs with mail and pdf's with about 15% use of memory in comparison to Opera.

A fix would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just discovered that my Opera (dev version, but most likely earlier ones included that too) has a little cube-shaped button after extensions icons (before Downloads one), tooltipped (is that a word?) as 'Extensions'. Clicking it opens popup with a list of installed and enabled extensions, where you can pin and unpin them Problem solved, at least for me.

I have to say it wasn't very obveous. I thought the box was an extension or some other stuff... Icon looks similar to another extension I have

Hi there, I'm doing some front-end coding, and trying to do some Paper js code i write in an HTML. When running the HTML I get this error:

• "Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'send' on 'XMLHttpRequest': Failed to load" (also see the added screenshot for further details). I did some research online and figured out this is browser based issue, and although I found some solutions for Chrome and others, I haven't found a solution for Opera. It should be mentioned that this HTML file works fine when opened with MS Edge browser.

It seems it¨s this occurs on my other house-hold computers as well, so it's not only my computer who has this problem...

Does opera have a task manager? how do I access it?

I only have 7 tabs "saved", but every time I open Opera, my computer becomes irritatingly sluggish... Any suggestions?
