Hi, is there any new development regarding Opera for Android TVs? I used to have it on my Sony TV, but it hasn't been appearing in the marketplace for a few years. I can't find a fast-working browser for the latest TVs. Is there any talk within the company about Opera for TV again?

@farah-william55 This usually happens due to high traffic on the remote server if Opera's built-in VPN is enabled. Also, are you using an extension like Adblock? Review Opera's Adblock and security settings. Also, check your Windows Defender firewall settings. If you send us the website where you're experiencing problems, we can test it too.

@Damifino the relevant flag (opera://flags/#search-box-in-address-bar) has also been removed. This means Opera developers have removed the old interface element as a result of modern UX decisions. Unfortunately, you have no choice but to revert to an older version or use the Address Bar as a "Pure Search Box".
