Opera (Installed August 2013)

  • I have a 64 byte HP Envy Laptop. For the past week Opera hangs with every operation - once every ten seconds. I can barely get work done. Was it a Flash Player Update or a Chrome change that is causing this? How can I fix this - or I will have to move everything I do to Chrome.

  • Open your profile folder, its location can be found in the About Opera page, and find the three files that begin with the word 'session'. These files store your open tabs when you exit the browser using the 'Continue where I left off' option. Deleting them sometimes fixes it. Be aware that this will of course wipe whatever tabs you have saved, so bookmark them or something.

  • It did. Thank you. This was a devastating issue for me. I use multiple browsers for work and would rather avoid becoming another Google Chrome zombie.
