XHR and cross-origin on `file:` protocol

Hi people,

Running Opera 31 on Ubuntu 14.04 32 bits, is there a way to enable cross-origin request with the file: protocol? There was an option for this in Opera Presto, but I can't find one in Opera Blink. I know it's feasible with Chrome via a command line switch, but I can't find one in the list of available switches displayed by opera-developer --help.

I need this to properly read local documentations made of HTML page relying on XMLHttpRequest.
