Hi!
My two suggestions to devs:

1. add options to set open new tab in background.
2. add options to change default scroll down shortcut (ie space)

For clicking on links, there's a Chrome extension, you might like.

It's called, "Right Click Opens Link In New Tab."

With the extension, Middle click opens the link in the background, right click in the foreground, left click opens the link in the tab you're in.
