Is it possible to use a javascript bookmark in opera on android without having to leave the page you are on? In other browsers and on my PC opera I have a javascript bookmark that modifies the URL of the current page to add proxy details which is very handy and something I use several times per day. However on Opera Android it seems the only way to open a bookmark is to go back to speed dial first which makes this bookmark useless.

Same problem here. I cannot get bookmarklets to work in Opera android. I'm trying to use the "save to Zotero" bookmarklet to work but, since I have to leave the page I want to save, the booklet has no effect. In Opera mini, the booklet seems to run but does not send the page either.

I actually found a way to make the bookmarklets work. After naming and saving the javascript as a bookmark you go to the page you want to apply the bookmarklet to and in the browser's search box you start typing the name of the javascript bookmark until the browser shows the suggestion containing the link to it. Then you press enter and it's done!

After adding a bookmark you can long press it and drag it to the "Edit" part of the start-page, there you can give it a name. So instead of typing the URL of the javascript bookmark you can just type the name.
