It gets so annoying when moving quickly between tabs, the white background blinks even when the pages are fully loaded.

If possible I'm sure others would find it useful to have that option too.

What do you suggest to change it to?

Different color? Start page background? Display the previous one until the tab or page is fully loaded?

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, anyway I'm starting to believe that the new Opera is not going to come even close to the old one.

@lestalia: What exactly do you want Opera to do? And what do you mean by "If possible I'm sure others would find it useful to have that option too."?

If I understand your problem correct, I get the feeling that the problem you described existed in Opera 12, because when I use Opera 12 it can be a bit laggy when I switch tab, but that problem is gone in the new Opera.

You know when you first try to open a page, it would show a blank white background, I'm talking about this background. Maybe it is my machine that is having this issue but Opera added center image function when open fully in a new tab so it would be cool to have an option to change the internal background color as well.

              I'm on Opera 29.

I think it's an issue with your machine.

Yeah, now I clearly see what you mean. I haven't experienced that problem, so I have now idea why you get it. Your specs didn't seem to be bad, perhaps it's a problem with your graphic driver? Have you experienced problems in other applications and overall performance, or it is only Opera?

Everything works fine and this issue is just in Chromium-based browsers. Old Opera and Firefox work perfectly!
