Windows 7 Version Shows Emojis as Boxes

I love Opera. I am on Win 7, and the only issue I have is that, unlike Firefox, emoji images are all boxes. I cannot tell what they are.
Is there a way to fix this?

@AmaterasuSolar Yeah, this is a Windows 7 thing more than an Opera bug. Win 7 just does not have a colour emoji font, so Opera ends up showing boxes while Firefox handles it differently.
You can try installing a colour emoji font, but honestly on Win 7 it never fully fixes it. Easiest workaround is just using Firefox for emoji-heavy pages.

I assume you're running Opera 95.0.4635.90.
Example page where the emojis don't show? Perhaps they're emojis added to a newer version of the Unicode standard that the Chromium version Opera 95 is based on doesn't support.

@burnout426 Yes, that's the version I am using. Here is a screen cap of what I see for emojis - that's suppoed to be "folded/praying hands," "purple heart," and "folded/praying hands" again.
I guess They're newer unicode. So You're saying I am SOL on Opera? It will not be updated to offer those emojis for Win 7? [sigh]

@kaceynoms9 Thanks. Guess I'm stuck with no emojis on Opera. Too tech illiterate to even try installing things somewhere I have no clue how... LOL!
