Screen turns blank when trying to create a passkey

Type in the word Passkey in Opera help and there are zero mentions of it! Clearly Opera has no real means of enabling passkeys which is ludicrous given the increasing number of websites that insist on using them.
In iOS if are on a website and you try and create a passkey in Opera, the screen turns blank and freezes every bloody time.
It's a shame that Opera is so backward...
Google/Safari/Edge here I come, Opera is not fit for purpose!
