I like Opera and would like to make it the default browser on my ageing desktop Mac; but one feature in Safari prevents me from dumping it and that is the simple one-click zoom button in the menubar, which might be visible in a screenshot below.
Because my 5k iMac has a very high resolution screen, I use this zoom function 100 times a day in order to read web pages so I can’t manage without it. Each click zooms in or out by a preset amount which I think is 25%.
In Opera GX (LVL5 [core: 102.0.4880.117) (x86_64)], I cannot see a simple button like this which I can add to the menubar – preferably to the left side of the menubar because I am left-handed. Yes, there is a Zoom plugin which will do the job but it requires several clicks because clicking once merely opens the settings interface when this needs to be instantaneous.
Please can I have a one-click zoom in/zoom out button? I promise I’ll switch.
