Can't dictate text in Opera Mail

OSX Yosemite includes a powerful offline dictation mode in several applications. It can be activated by pressing <fn> twice or by choosing Edit > Start Dictation from the menu. Both does not work in Opera Mail. Hasn't that been implemented or am I too blind to see?
