Google images size

Hi !
Does anyone else have this problem ? I use a Samsung Player Five and when I want to download images from Google or else, hotlinking or not, the size of that image appears down on the left side; let's say it reads 350kB for example. So I open (dowload) the image, but I only get a smaller one, 45kB, sort of ! Each time, since I'd say a couple of weeks !! It's pretty annoying. I did not change any setting on my phone, I'm puzzled.
Please, help me.

Weird. I get the same results using U.C Browser 9.0 and Opera Mini 8.0... And after a thorough research, there isn't even any setting on my phone regarding the size of the images I'd dowload. Could that be a trick from Bouygues, my access provider ? I'm going to ask them, of course.
But all that is quite annoying.
