Text address - Mark - right-click - Go to Web Address in new tab?

Is there an option to open a new tab when you mark a text address, which is not a clickable link, right-click it and choose "Go to Web Address"?
The standard approaches with shift+click and ctrl+shift+click don't work. Is there a workaround?

oops, there is a plug-in https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/open-in-background-tab/?display=en

__Nu__Opera, I presume?
- Is there a shortcut for opening a new tab? A hint...
- I don't know but what if to try pasting it into the address bar and hitting
Ctrl
"Enter"?

yes, I'm referring to the new opera. indeed, I can mark the text, ctrl+c for copy, ctrl+t for new tab, ctrl+v for paste and enter to go to URL.
however, i find it easier to mark the text, right-click it and choose shift+GoToWebAddress. it saves a few clicks and this makes a difference when such an operation is made multiple times a day. anyway, the above plug-in relatively solves the issue for me.
