Bring back development of Opera Mail

Yeah I know, Opera do not see this as a something worth doing. But in terms of functionality, it is still (unbelievably) one of the best mail clients out there. How great could it be if it were actively developed?
I know there is a lot of ground root support for Opera mail among Opera users and I think it could be an amazing tool.
Please, please, please reconsider your decision to halt development and bring this fantastic piece of software back to life. And please post something to show your support if you would also like to see Opera Mail revitalised.

I agree - I still think that Opera Mail holds its own. For me, the rapid searching and grouping of mails across multiple accounts are the highlights. It does need a bit of work, but I still recommend it to people because there is barely any competition.

Certainly agree with that. The linked forum above recommends Vivaldi. I will definitely be checking that out, especially as the are suggesting that they will have linked email and browser again.

+2 I am still using Opera Mail (standalone now) and can't find a decent replacement. Loved the browser integrated email...some people just don't want Google handling their emails and the attraction of GMail, I guess, is that it is integrated into the browser.

Opera mail is useless as standalone. There are lots of better clients then Opera mail. Advantage of Opera mail was integration in browser but now it has no advatage so its useless. Please integrate that mail back or kill it aready!

I can't agree with you. Yes, it was an advantage of having the e-mail client in the browser, but even if it's a standalone application, it beats many other e-mail programs.
