Using PiP (Picture In Picture) feature when browsing another tab?

When I am in full screen and press home button, there will be a pip appear, when using other apps it is still there but when opening a new opera tab it disappears. I want a permanent pip.

I’ve been testing the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature on Opera for Android, and honestly it’s a bit unpredictable. It runs fine when I stay on the same tab, but the second I switch to another tab or minimize the browser, the PiP window sometimes freezes or disappears .

I’ve already tried adjusting background activity and battery optimization, which helps a little, but not completely.

Has anyone else here noticed the same thing? And if yes, what tricks or settings do you use to keep PiP running smoothly across tabs? Would love to hear your tips ”

@leya-Ariya Android opera dosen't even have a pip button. too bad
