Opera freezing when I open

Hello all,
I've had this problem for a couple weeks now every time I open up Opera for the first time. It try's to loads all of my previously opened tabs but the page actually is just frozen.
I open up task manager and it can be anywhere between 8-17 "processes" at a time. I try close them all one by one to see if that helps but ends up crashing Opera.
Has anyone else come across this ? Very frustrating as I just have to go back to google chrome since it just never loads. Took me about 20 mins to finally get it to work to post this!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm having the same problem too, it started to happen after the latest update. Reinstalling has not solved the problem!
