Hi,
When will we finally get the syncing option for the iOS version? I know this has been an ongoing debate for the past four years, and yet the feature still isn’t available.

What’s the primary reason a browser leader like Opera finds it difficult to implement sync on iOS? It’s a desperately needed feature—and one that’s preventing many users from successfully switching from other browsers.

Is this something the team isn’t prioritizing?

I’m trying to understand— is this a legal restriction or a technical limitation?
If it’s purely technical and not feasible right now, then I urge you to at least provide a secure workaround: a way to export all data from Opera Desktop in an encrypted format, and a corresponding method on iOS to import that file. This would allow users like me to manually sync our data and maintain continuity across platforms.

Without such an option, the lack of cross-device sync creates real friction and undermines trust in the ecosystem. Please prioritize this—it’s a critical need for users who rely on Opera across devices.
