Opera doesn’t work on IOS devices lower than 17.0
So have i lost all of my data? I didn’t make any backups, nor thought this would happen. Any way i can access my passwords at least?

@leocg Both my devices are from apple, however, i use safari on my iphone. My MacOs Catalina is where i use opera and currently am having trouble with passwords as the browser isn’t opening - which is most likely happening because, like i said, Opera isn’t working on devices lower than 17.0 (not compatible on my mac anymore)

Opera GX on iOS requires iOS 17 now. If you have an older version of Opera GX on iOS 16 for example, you’ll never be updated to the incompatible version. So, as long as you keep the old Opera GX installed, you won’t lose your data in it.

@axtriel Go in settings on iOS, tap on the Opera GX app to see its settings. What version does it show there? Maybe it updated to an incompatible version when it wasn't supposed to. I have 2.71 with 2.80 starting the requirement for iOS 17 I think.

@burnout426 When i right click on opera in my MacOs to obtain its informations, it says 114.0
I tried reinstalling opera at first, but the installer is also already blocked, so i haven’t tried again. -

@leocg I’m sorry, but i’ve answered so many questions and i need help ASAP. I have so many passwords in there and i couldn’t access them in any other device.
My MacOs Catalina (DESKTOP) is lower than the new 17.0 update. Probably 16.7 like my iphone 8, as they aren’t gonna update anymore. If i try reinstalling opera it says it doesn’t operate in devices lower than IOS 17.0
I know Opera doesn’t work in systems that are lower atm. However, even if i have an older version of opera, im struggling to access it. That’s literally it. I need to have access, and that is also why i’m asking if i lost everything. -

@leocg Thats what i’ve been explaining. My computer no longe supports Opera newest version, and it does not open anymore whatsoever. What i’ve been saying for a while now, is that i cant open opera anymore, the version installed on my computer must have been updated, and i cannot access it anymore. I need to know if there’s a way for me to get my passwords back, or get an older version of opera.. Anything i can do to get my passwords.
