Opera GX closing + re-opening (on-sequence) with no explanation

I'll be honest here, I'm not happy. This issue has made me uninstall Opera GX completely and I'll likely not reinstall it until I get a response about this issue or a sign that the DEV team even cares.
So, for starters, I dislike the Opera application a lot because of how "different" (not in a good way) its design is from Opera GX, which is why I countinuously opt for downloading Opera GX instead. It's much easier for me to find where things are and organize myself.
However, just today I've begun to get issues related to Opera GX, such as:
- sudden shutdowns/crashes without any crash-messages
- sudden re-opening of the Opera GX application seconds after it crashed (without me having opened the application myself)
So far, I've tried to:
- troubleshoot the application to try and detect and issues (failed)
- reinstall the application (accidentally installed Opera Browser instead of GX, still failed whenever I reinstalled Opera GX)
- try to get a crash ID (failed)
And whenever I check for forums on how to solve the issue, there is nothing that actually helps.
I really hope that this eventually reaches someone or some people who can help and/or had the same issue, but until then, I'll refrain from using any Opera applications. -

As a test, launch Opera in a command prompt like this:
"%localappdata%\Programs\Opera GX\opera.exe" --disable-extensions
(even if you don't have any extensions that you installed).
Does that prevent the crashing?

Opera does that on purpose. It's trying to start again after the crash and will try a couple more times after that if needed before finally giving up.

FYI:
You can create a shortcut to opera.exe, name the shortcut "Opera Safe Mode" and modify the shortcut's command to be:
"C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera GX\opera.exe" --disable-gpu --disable-extensions --no-experiments
to start Opera in a kind of safe mode.

See https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/crashlog/. You might have to set an environment variable with your email address to get a crash ID. Doesn't always help, but it's worth a try.
