Colored line under tabs stays on screen when entering a full screen video

Whenever I enter a full screen video, regardless of the website, the blue colored line that normally sits under the tabs remains visible. This does not happen when I have the GX sidebar visible, but most of the time I do not like having the sidebar visible. Any idea how to fix this? It is very distracting. Thank you.
I'm on Opera GX on a 2020 Macbook Pro.
