Opera GX sidebar widget stays open on my PC but auto-closes on my laptop – same version!

Hi everyone,

I'm having a strange issue with Opera GX across my two devices.
On my PC, when I open the sidebar widget (the one on the right side), it stays open permanently, even when I move my mouse away.
On my laptop, however, the sidebar widget automatically closes as soon as I move the mouse away — even though the "Show Widget" option is enabled.

I already checked:

Both devices are using exactly the same Opera GX version.

Both are signed into the same Opera account.

Settings seem very similar, but still the behavior is different.

Could this be caused by a hidden setting, a system-specific behavior, or maybe a flag I’m missing?
