Crash recovery

When Opera crashes, I then relaunch the browser and it opens with a message saying "opera recovered from a crash". But that's it. There is no button that I can click to restore my last session. The tabs and pages I had opened at the time of the crash are not automatically restored, and they do not appear in my history either. It's bad enough that Opera crashes fairly often, but it's worse that it does not provide for a way to restore my tabs which were lost in the crash! I'm not a power user either - for example, this last time, I simply had the fedex website and one other website open, and I was entering in details to prepare a shipping label. Something that should not cause a crash. And I do not have any extensions.
Is there any way to make Opera restore my last session when it recovers from a crash?
