opera 27 wont open .pdf files HELP

I just installed opera 27 on my new desktop, and when i try to open a pdf file to read , i get an error message...'couldn't load plugin' please help because i use this function all the time on my laptop

1. Open opera:plugins
2. Activate "Chrome PDF Viewer"
3. Open PDF
