Account was auto deleted and now I can't use my original forum username

My account that I created in 2014 was auto deleted at some point. I was able to create a new Opera account with the same email address. But the forum hasn't released my original username and I don't see a way to retrieve the existing forum username to associate with my new Opera Account. And I don't see any way to create a support ticket.
Note: It's really sad that Opera auto-deletes a stagnant account without first sending out emails with a 30 day warning. Now all my sync data is wiped out for the Opera Browser.
