Can't access Sync page to reset passphrase

yo so im in egypt and opera gx is banned in egypt so i need to use a vpn to access basically any opera website, but i need to reset my catchphrase but since im using a vpn the page doesnt load. so now i cant enable sync, can someone help me?

@firomfire I have the same problem. I've read the "Solved" but.. like this "Go to www.sync.opera.com and click on the reset passphrase link." Shows all my links that are saved and other stuff. So I click on this link takes me to "reset passphrase" I click it. I am taken to a video and just above says "you don't have anything sync". I just saw all of it. I understood to reset it would delete everything. Sorry but lol this is awful. So many have this problem. I can sync everything but passwords. I still don't remember ever setting a passphrase.
Is is really that hard to just say "reset Passphrase" if you do this all will be deleted. Ok then takes you to reset it. Never had this problem on any others browser. Just started using this one. Its great some of you figured this out so easily. Its just not worth it. Really? Edge is easy. Anyway I read all the locked threads but I like this one "thread is locked with last post. "i am having the same problem where is the reset passphare button" lol no help there.
Remember where we are. There's another post asking for help.. since March 2025. Maybe get a new mod that can help. This one is not helping Oprea
