Old Links in Custom Bookmark Folders Have Disappeared

Help!!!
My old links in my customized bookmark folders have disappeared, as have the folder in the Bookmarks menu, though not in the Bookmarks Bar.
How can I restore my links and customized folders????

I am having the same problem, as of a few days ago. I am running Opera 25 on OS 10.6.8. I am the admin, it's a personal laptop.
