opera mail: permantly disable check spelling

How to disable permantly check spelling in opera mail. It is possible to do it in a new mail but you have do disable it every time again. I am using Opera Mail for Apple

Add opera:config back and uncheck "Spellcheck enabled by default" (it's under [User Prefs]) and click the "save" button. Restart Opera if you have to.
Or, close down Opera Mail and edit operaprefs.ini in the preferences folder (see "Menu -> help -> about Opera Mail" for the location). Under [User Prefs], add/set:
Spellcheck enabled by default=0
