So I'm just coming back to Opera. Didn't like changes, blah blah, changed the worst to be tolerable blah blah blah.

Anyway can anyone recommend an extension or something to manage downloads? Even just something to add an "open" button so I can just open things automatically when they're done. Or am I just not seeing the setting?

I would also be open to an external download manager if those still exist in 2015.

I don't use this but it was one of the first results when searching for Opera extensions. Maybe try them out and let us know if they are decent.

I saw it but wasn't sure what it was just from the description.

I tried it and it seems to work well, once I got my head around how it's intended to work. I did the teenseyest bit of testing. It has a lot of features and seems quite good. Everything seems to work. No glaring issues that jumped out at me yet.

Someone more familiar with download managers maybe could try it but it does what I'm looking for.

This is also the Flareget extension, which works with the Flareget download manager.

Just double click on the item from the download popout list in Opera and it will open.
