Bookmarks disappear

Hi there
I have trouble with Bookmarks. Every time I want to set them up and start to create folders and edit bookmarks, all of a sudden they disappear. All of them. Like just now, I had some folders created and some bookmarks in "unsorted bookmarks" and wanted to delete just one bookmark, ALL bookmarks disappeared. This is about the third time this happens. Frustrating; I am about to give up on Opera. What do I do wrong? Is it a bug? I am using the latest Opera 27.0.1689.69 on win8.1 64bit.

Add: Just installed Opera 28beta and that version seems to be ok. Doing same things on Opera27 and Opera28 (creating test folders and some bookmarks in "Unsorted bookmarks", finally deleting one bookmark) resulted in Opera27 deleting all bookmarks and folders while Opera28beta only deleted what it was suppose to do.
Consequently, I believe it is a bug in Opera27.
When will Opera28 be published in a stable version? The beta version is installed separately without my extensions etc. So it is of no real use to me.

Eventually Opera Stable will become version 28, but each channel (Stable, Beta and Development) always has a separate install. That way you can have each of the three releases on your computer at once if you wish. In the next few months each channel will see updates and improvements before increasing its version number. That said, no one else that I've seen has reported a problem like you describe with the Stable release. It might be specific to your installion. Have you tried uninstalling Opera Stable and reinstalling it?

Thank you lando242. Due to your response I got to believe there might be an issue with an extension. I have checked another computer with similar installation of Opera27 (but on win7) and it had same issue. So I reinstalled Opera and installed all extensions except SpeedDial FVD (google chrome extension). Et voila: I haven't had any issue yet with disappaering bookmarks. If issue reappears, I will report here...
