Downloads are stored as hidden files

Hi!
I've got a weird problem on my Mac 10.7 with Opera 19.0. I download files, images, videos, whatever, and sometimes (in fact quite often) Opera saves them with the "hidden" flag. So the files are there, but I can't see them unless I tell Finder to show hidden files. I made a clean install twice (with all Opera files removed from the Library), nothing changed.
Did anyone else experience this phenomenon? Thanks in advance

I have never heard of this problem before. To me, it sounds like a conflict with a third-party application.
Can you test and see if you can reproduce the problem from your system’s Guest account?

Really this is the same problem I was facing 3 months back. My all files were hidden whatever I had downloaded were missing. I was looking for hidden files app similar to this one http://www.showhiddenfilesmac.com, that can easily help me out to display the hidden files I have downloaded.
I have tried,defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE
but it does not work for me.
