Regarding the 'New start page'

I really liked the new startpage where you see little coloured blocks filled with text instead of the big 'snapshot tiles.' And shockingly it got removed since the Opera 27.0 update. So I downloaded the Opera beta version hoping it would return to the official Opera development. But today it even got removed from the Opera beta version (28.0).
For me this is a huge bummer because I really enjoyed the sleek new interface. I also don't like the bookmarks bar at the bottom of the startpage, but that's a different story.
In my opinion the new startpage was a huge step forward, so it would be nice if users had the option to switch between the old and the new startpage. It would also be awesome if it was possible to customize the bookmark bar location.

So go into opera://flags and enable the other speed dial. I can't remember the exact setting you change but if you browse the forums here I'm sure you can find it. Its been much discussed the last week or so.

Enter "opera://flags/#experimental-start-page" without quotes in opera's address bar. Enable Experimental start page, close and restart opera.

I got it to work, thanks!
The Icons weren't the same at first but I had to enable HiDPI Speed Dial Tiles too.
