Opera cycling tabs

I have just installed the newest Opera (from v12). I have only one question that was asked but nobody responded.
WHY ON EARTH there is no option available for cycling through tabs with PPM and MOUSEWHEEL?
I'm not saying that it's the most important thing for me. But it is. I'll cut myself if none of Opera team devs fix it.
And I can't even complain to anybody because there's only bug report. -

Opera 12 and Opera 15+ are unrelated programs. They share a name, that is all. They share no code. Opera 15+ is based on the chromium rendering engine. Things will be different. Some features that were little used will probably never be reimplemented. In the new Opera you can cycle tabs with the 1 and 2 keys (back and forward respectively) or Ctrl+Tab to go forwards and Ctrl+Shift+Tab to go backwards.
PS. From your tone it sounds like you're half here to complain about it. Needless to say we are not the devs. We are just fellow users helping each other out. If complaining about changes is all you want to post about after this, please don't. If I have misread your intent I apologize in advance.

Nah. But aren't any devs looking at these discussions? And sure, I know the newest opera is not continuation of previous, but wouldn't you like your program to be the best? I if mean, if they added mouse gestures, shouldn't they have add all of them (even disabled by default)? I'm sorta disappointed.
I didn't want to make somebody feel bad with previous post.PS it all ended with writing this post on Opera 12
I love my buggycyclingtabpossible ver 12. -

Not really. They do read the suggestion box and the comments in each release announcement. You're much more likely to catch their ear in those places. This is mostly for user support.

Well, in all honesty the last major feature I used from the old Opera that was lacking implementation in the new one is the bookmarking system. They added that a few versions back. Once they had some of the bugs tamped down and included an imported I made the switch permanently. It lacks polish but its workable and improving steadily. Everything else that I find missing is either on its way or supported via extensions. In the latter case its often better than what Opera 12 had. Sessions and Adblock for example.
People tend to rant and rage on here about whatever pet features they liked that is missing or changed. I hated the sidebar, hated mouse gestures (disabled them both), never used notes, never used email, never used MyOpera, only used IRC a half dozen times, didn't miss voice when it was dropped, etc. The only things I find lacking these days is the search engine system, image handling, keyboard shortcuts and bookmarks. They need polish but they work well enough and aren't that big a deal to me. I find it much more important that my web pages render properly and that the browser performs wells. Both features which the new Opera is superior at over the old Opera.
