Display bookmarks in list of titles instead of icons

If this issue has already been addressed, please tell me how to find it.

Is there any way to display bookmarks as a list of titles or URLs instead of thumbnails? Much of the time I can't tell from looking at the the thumbnail what what web site it points to. It would be a lot easier to get where I want to go if I could just have a list of titles to read. The thumbnails just get in the way.
