Opera for Win 8.0 pro and Icons

recently update Opera and reset up my Favourites using the new Icons, a real breeze to use, especially for my wife who is a little computer illiterate.
Used opera before going to bed, everything ok, next morning, opened opera, and all my favourites with the NEW icons were gone, replaced with the original icons from the previous version of Opera.
HOW do I get back the new version with all the new icons.

Type opera://flags into the address bad and search for 'experimental' in the page that shows up. Change that setting and you should see the other speed dial.
