change speed dial icons?

my speed dial icons have just changed! They are now far too big. Any way to change them back to the way they were? Last time they got changed I noticed a little window at bottom right that allowd to change back but nothing now. I tried google & was told there is a spanner icon to edit stuff but this is missing on my screen! Im running Win7.

If you use the "old" start page, I believe you can change the speed dial size in the "Start page" section in Opera settings.

If you upgraded to opera 27, the new start page has been disabled by default. To re enable it enter this in the address bar: "opera://flags/#experimental-start-page" without quotes. Change Experimental start page to enable then restart opera. Back as well is the "go back to the old start page" in the lower right corner.

Zoom also works on your speed dial page. Check and make sure you didn't accidentally change it. Or maybe use the zoom feature to get the size you'd like, whatever works.

I made the change back to the "Experimental start page" but now my folders with the icons look nearly opaque - > http://www.picfront.org/d/9ey7

When I open the folder, all the icons look normal - > http://www.picfront.org/d/9ey8

I found no settings to make the folder translucent again like it was in the 26 version, any suggestions?

Why on earth did they disable the start page and new icons? They look really good. I've enabled mine again. Hopefully they'll be around in future builds as an option at least, if people really must have generic looking site previews.
