Opera slower after update

I started my pc today and opera decided to update with the new design Etc. I have like 111 tabs open actively I had no problems whatsoever before the update I opened my browser everything instantly loaded and never had any trouble with lagging at all and now with the new update I am unable to do anything I have opened opera for over 5 minutes and I had to close it through task manager twice now I'm on version 116.0.5366.103 opera has fully loaded but its still slower than before the new update what I've also noticed when switching workspaces it has a delay of like 0.5ms-1s which was not like before. And before saying "maybe try to close some tabs" I did not have any problem running 111 tabs till now.
