after the recent update, i lost all user data including open tabs, extensions and all settings

after the update my entire bookmark bar was gone, my extensions are gone, i had over 30 open tabs, and they are now gone. i am not sure how to restore anything. i had all of these checked under opera synch, and lost it all. please help
