bookmakrs under create heart gone; under side link all present

Opera closed itself, I think, but no crash message (I may have closed it with clumsy fingers). All bookmarks and folders under the top line heart for creating links gone when restarted. Bookmarks under the side heart and bookmarks page present. Almost all my bookmarks were in the "Other Bookmarks" folder. Speed dial OK except links don't show under create heart. New bookmark appears on the bookmarks page. but not under the create heart. Only basic folders under create heart Bar, Speed, Other. Laptop a bit short on memory, only 43.9 GB.
Windows 10 version 10.0.19045 build 19045. Opera version is 115.0.5322.119
Difficult to keep new bookmarks organized with no folders available and I don't want to re-create it all.
