Constantly flickering mouse cursor

The problem started yesterday, i updated to latest version and tried known fixes which didn't work. Mouse cursor is constantly flickering in a loading and stable phase. about 8-10 times per second. It also started eating a lot of my ram. Closing the opera gx stops the flickering. I have tried to disable all the extensions of which i have like 2-3 so it's not them either.
