Duplicate tab highlight obscured by tab details

I like this function a lot, but I feel like it worked better a few updates ago.
Since few months or longer (didn't really keep track of that), when hovering over a tab, the box displaying the tab details is placed right at the lines indicating which tabs are duplicated.

In general, in order to make use of this function, and notice which tabs are copied, user has to hover over one of them, which automatically displays it's details and often obscures the very info you're trying to get.

Both functions are very nice, but if the detail box was just a few pixels lower, or the duplicate tabs were fully highlighted, like I believe it used to work before, then that issue would be nonexistent.
