History wiped out,out of nowhere ?

Just a few days ago for some reason Opera GX decided on its own to disconnect me of every single website as well as wipe out my entire history, I was quite confused but moved on and shrugged it off, (although it was still quite annoying!).
But now it just did it again! Well minus the automatic disconnection but, it once again wiped all of my history clean for anything from before 3 hours and a half ago (more or less). Is there no way to recover my history (I never manually made any back ups because, why would I ?) or at least maybe make sure that my history is not cleared automatically again, out of nowhere ? I dont want to have to manually search back every website i check every day several times a week if these wipes keep going...
