Can anyone explain why Opera is not allowing me to change permissions for allowing a site to know my location in privacy settings from "Ask" to "Allow?" Every time I try, it just changes back to "Ask."

It seems that Opera is not saving your location permission changes because of either saved site data or privacy extensions that automatically reset settings. To fix this, try clearing the site data for the specific website or temporarily disabling any extensions that may block location access. Also, make sure your browser and operating system location settings are correctly enabled, as they can override individual site permissions. Many service providers use location features to improve convenience for customers, like scheduling appointments or finding nearby professionals. For instance, if you’re looking for a reliable roofing service 🏘️ in Columbia TN, enabling location services can help you quickly connect with experts, get accurate estimates, and schedule timely repairs without hassle.

That usually happens when Opera’s site settings are being overridden by system or Windows privacy controls. Try checking your OS location settings and ensure Opera has permission to access location services. Then restart the browser and try changing it again.
