Links open in new tab to "this site cant be reached"

Wasn't sure what this would be called so I don't know if anyone's already asked.
I don't know when this started but whenever I click on links (that I know work), it brings me to this page.

This is only a problem with Opera as I can copy the link and open it in firefox or other browsers. I don't like having to go to a different browser when I know this one should be able to do it just fine. This happens opening hyperlinks from my email most often. I have tried copying a link and going from there but it still doesn't work. Is there a setting I can turn on or off to fix this?
