@leocg said in Dark mode settings are not working for websites and dev tools:
@duviii The fix should be on stable channel probably next week, unless it's something too complex

I was able to update the Opera GX Browser to LVL 6 (core: 114.0.5282.106), and when I select dark mode, it stays on dark mode even when I close and reopen it. Thank you, developers, and I’m sorry for anyone still experiencing issues. I genuinely sympathize with those who continue to struggle with this problem.

I just noticed that unfortunately the Google settings (dark mode) still is not working properly. Only dev tools are.

@metana Lol, that's true. I think they confused DEC 28 with NOV 28.

@metana Brave. Use Brave cos it uses Chromium(So, basically a better opera) and also blocks ads the way you are supposed to. The Dev of Brave is more considering when it comes to clogging your tab list with ads, unlike in Opera. Mozilla is good If u r web dev. Vivaldi is Edge 2.0, syncing is a nightmare last I used it and it was a buggy mess.

@bvfi-dev Brave does not have an inbuilt implementation of modular #enable-force-dark chrome flag (you cannot select which page enable/disable dark mode, just like other Chrome browser).
And dark mode extensions just looks very shitty.
