      Hello

Just earlier today my Opera browser decided it will not load google anymore. It gives me 'Internal communication error' whenever I try to go to google, either through speed dial or through address bar. All other websites seem to work fine.

I have no idea why. The only recent thing I changed was that I deleted cookies in the browser.

Please help! How do I fix this?

      Thanks

Delete cookies for 'www.google.com' and 'google.com'.

it happened to me as well once using 12.17 thats why i shifted then to Opera 24.

what i did then was i searched 'google' in yahoo and click it in there and it loaded. try searching for other google pages in yahoo or bing or duckduckgo and load google from there.

it worked for me, could worked for you, maybe

Have you tried emptying Opera's cache? (ctrl+F12 > Advanced > History > Disk cache: click on the Empty Now button > OK)

Also, when you start up Opera, does it typically start with a home page, speed dials, or restore the previous session?
